Sue Burke wrote the science fiction novel Semiosis and its sequel, Interference while she was living in Madrid. Now residing in Chicago, USA, she’s published two other science fiction novels Immunity Index  and Dual Memory. The final book in the Semiosis series, Usurpation, will be published in October. Semiosis was recently translated into Spanish by Dolmen Editorial.

Sue has also written short stories, and as a professional translator, she’s brought outstanding Spanish speculative fiction writers to the English-speaking world. The evening will take the form of an author interview, including readings and the chance to ask questions. This will be followed by book signing and drinks and snacks will be served.
